Video Killed the Radio Star

As new parents we're pros at taking lots of videos of our little man.  Here are four that we've taken recently, some of our favorites.  The most recent are at the top and they get older as you go down the page.  Enjoy some of Colton's finest moments! :)

3 Part Christmas: Part 3

The last part of our whirlwind Christmas vacation was a trip to Texas to visit Ross' family.  They just moved to Houston so it was our first trip there to visit them.  We had a great time seeing everyone (except Robert and Charissa, who were so missed!) and getting to know more about Mark and Connie's new life!  Once again, enjoy some pictures from our trip!

Stowers family photo, minus Robert and Charissa.

Colton perfected his back to tummy flip while we were in Houston.  Here is is staring with longing at his new favorite toy from GiGi and Grandy, but can't quite reach out for it yet.

Though his face doesn't show it here, Colton loved playing "airplane" with Grandy.

Aunt Grace and GiGi loved on Colton so much!  This is just after they gave him a bath.

3 Part Christmas: Part 2

Before I share some pictures from our amazing trip to Colorado with my family, I have some news to share about Colton!
I THINK HE'S ALREADY TEETHING!!!  It's hard to be sure, but he has been a little more fussy lately, he's drooling like a mad-man, and there is a hard, white bump in the middle of his top gums.  Could it really be a tooth coming through?  If it is, I hope it doesn't come in crooked - I don't want my perfect baby boy to have a messed up tooth!  The timing was ironic - Colton started teething (if, in fact, he really is) the same day I put him in the "Teething Bites" onesie he got for Christmas from Aunt Charissa and Uncle Robert.  Hmmm....
I know that this is a big milestone for Colton, but I've found that it's really making me sad!  I feel like he won't be my little baby anymore once he starts getting teeth.  He'll be growing up!  Couple that with the fact that I packed away his newborn & 0-3 month clothes last week and you have one mildly depressed mama! ;o)

Anyway, check out our Christmas in Colorado pictures.  Thanks, Mom and Dad, for making this trip possible!

Colorado was so cold - almost every day was 10 degrees or less!  We bundled Colton up and his body kept toasty warm.  His poor little face, though, got windburn or something.  It was all chapped and red for a week!

Aunt Jenn gave Colton one of his bottles.

Colton really wanted to ski.  We had to explain to him that in order to ski you must be able to walk!

Big Poppy bonding with Colton.

Uncle Jeff holding Colton - I don't know who was more nervous, Jeff or Colton!

I got to ski two days while my mom watched Colton!  Jenn and I were ready to go!

Sibling love!

Family of 3 - too bad Colton is so bundled up he just looks like a little lump!

3 Part Christmas: Part 1

We had a very busy Christmas!  First we celebrated in Orlando, then we headed to Winter Park, CO to celebrate with the Moore's, and finally we went to Houston, TX to celebrate with the Stowers.  We had a great time seeing most all of our family, but it is good to be back in our house and getting re-settled into our routine.

I'm going to share pictures from each leg of our trip and I thought I'd start with our Orlando celebration.  Basically it consisted of opening the gifts Ross and I gave each other (we didn't take any pictures of that) and Colton opening all his gifts from his great-grandparents!  As you can see, he had a great time. :)

Colton was enthralled with the unwrapping process

...and he was so surprised by his wonderful gifts!

He just couldn't believe everything was for him.

Colton pictured with the great books and DVD's that Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Hurst bought him.  The books are very cool - they have different languages in them, including Italian!

Colton loved his Baby Einstein video from Great Grandma Moore.  In fact, he loved them all!

Colton couldn't believe how much he had unwrapped!

Merry Christmas, fools! ;o)
