Colton is officially 4 months old! I often say that these have been the longest and shortest 4 months of my life. Regardless of how quickly...or, some days, slowly...time passes, I have loved having him in our lives. He is such a sweet blessing!
We took Colton to his 4 month doctor's appointment on Monday. He is still extraordinarily long, 27 inches, and pretty lean, 13 pounds 10 ounces. The doctor wasn't worried about his length/weight ratio but she did encourage us to start him on solid foods this month so that he can get a few more calories into his system to support his extra long body! :) We started with rice cereal yesterday!
Colton was excited and ready to try his "big boy food!"
He actually took it pretty well!
Even so, it was just a little messy. :)

He's so cute Lindsay! AW had her 4 month appt on Monday too. :) We haven't ventured into cereal yet...I'm putting it off as long as possible out of sheer laziness. :) Hope y'all are doing well!
